However in answer to your post... I have had this happen with coilover suspension and I needed to use 20mm hubcentric spacers to get the wheels where I wanted them. I used H&R ones from eBay I think (or maybe from here). You'll need to work our yourself as to how big your spacers need to be, but it's always best to use hubcentric ones rather than the kind that are flat plates. Hubcentric spacers won't upset your wheel balance.

The PCD for the MK2 MR2 is 5x114.5 so these ones are quite similar to mine:

However 20mm is a big step so you will need to measure yours first :thumleft:

No problem. If you're lucky you might not need ones as large as those, and the ones that aren't as thick don't have their own threaded bar built in. This in turn can sometimes mean that you need to press the studs out of the hub and get longer ones put in.

Please could you hit the edit button on your first post in the top right and ditch the caps - this will let you edit the thread title too :)

You running std suspension?

Im running Leda coilovers with 215/40/17 rubber with a 45mm offset and had to fit 12mm spacers taking offset to 33mm to clear strut. You are running a broader tyre so I think with a 40 offset you will need around a 10mm spacer to take it out to 30mm offset. BUT this depends on your suspension struts. Another pointer, on my setup the wheels are on borderline of wheel arch so Im thinking your setup will be the same.

The best thing to do is buy from halfords/loan a pack of two 6mm none hubcentric spacers and try them on one wheel so you can get an idea of spacer depth required, then purchase the proper H&R ones which are alot more expensive.

Incidently I have 8 of the non hubcentric ones which I can post a couple to you but you will have to pay P&P

i run 255/35/18 9j 35 offset on the rears with a 10mm spacer (just for looks) & the front i run 215/45/17 8j 35 offset with a 20mm spacer (again mainly for looks i reacon i could get away with 5mm or 10mm on mine)

As for rubbing if you have coilovers the first thing to do is crack off the shock bolts(go through the hub) pull the hub out towards you this will move the wheels away from the shock then resecure (this will give you more + camber) so then using camber adjusters(pillow ball mounts) at the top of the shock push them in & tighten & this will give you back negative camber :thumleft: :thumleft: hope this helps
