spraying stainless steel/aluminium

Post by Martin F »

if spraying aluminium or stainless steel do you have to use etch primer as well as primer before painting? , anything else needed, it may have to put up with some heat too...

p.s. Is there anywhere online you can buy heat resistant paint in various colours ?

cheers :thumleft:

For stainless i always used to sand the area back then give it a good few coats of High temp paint.

Be worth checking with the High temp paints as some of them do not work with a primer as i found out #-o ](*,)
