standard rebuilt st205 pump, £105

Dont get a cheap chargecooler pump from ebay! they do not do the job, ive got a hot radiator sat on my engine at present and temps through the roof! Ive had it a year and have had hassle from the start, no kinks or anything through system.

Im looking into a marine pump, can still work through any blockages or airlocks, GT4 would suffice but £105 for re-con? fine if your given a warranty, please let me know if you find anything out as I may get one too!

you will be no better off getting a pump with warranty to that of a refurbed 205.
If you think about it, the st205 pumps that people are running, are 10yrs old and still going strong so a refurbed one has no reason to last tha same again.
You will only get a yrs warranty with a new pump anyway, and i can bet my life on it that a refurbed one will outlive a ebay buy anyway.

You very rarely hear of the 205 pumps failing because they are so robust and built to last.
Id go for the 205 any day of the week, they are super quiet, reliable and are designed for your setup matey.
Also if for some reason it did fail, a refurb on the same unit if you are able to do it yourself cans cost as little as ten quid i think, but you can even send it away for 50 ponds and have it done.

im using vw pumps mate, 1 on the return and 1 on flow . on a flat out blast through the gears i got 2 to 3c above out side temp.
the pumps are on most of the vw and audi range,about 1998 to now , the good thing about these is that the pair of them only use 2.3amps :)plenty of them in salvage/scrap yards.cheap as well

another question where can i get the sock and throttle cable bracket i need to intall my kit on my rev 2? can i get it online anywhere, or do any of you have them for sell? thanks

theres a few complete kits on here for sale but its always worth asking if they will split for your sock and bracket etc mate,
if not then toyota really is your only option matey ( i think anyway )

Yeah they are cheap enough from the dealer, alternatively theres bound to be someone breaking an ST185 on GT4OC.

I got my whole CC setup from a guy on there.
