Temporary Car Insurance

Post by Lee_MR2 »

I am 22 years old and have been looking around the internet to get some short term cover on my supercharger, problem is since I bought insurance last year the age limits have gone up to 24 on a lot of the sites and other companies are just not insuring me.

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem or knows of any good sites to try out.

Cheers

Hmmm, do you have another insurance policy? Previously I rang up my normal insurance co and tagged it on there and they were fine. Dayinsure is now 23 as well :(

There are very few companies who will offer short term cover on an import and most short term insurance providers have age restrictions you may not meet.

If you have a current policy running then try and add the SC on as a temporary additional vehicle.

Unfortunately I feel you may struggle.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

Try www.DayInsure.com/Insurance

My mate who is 24, got 1 day cover on our RX7 Type R, cost him £22 for the day.

Be aware they often have age limits on the vehicle in the small print as well!

Or some allow you to type in your name and address and when you get to the age part, they don't show your car in the category as you are too young!
