how to remove engine?

Post by oBladeo »

Hi i need to get my highly modded engine out my car to sell it. It's just been painted and looks mint but the prob is i don't know how to get it out without damaging it.

I know what to do to remove it but i don't know how to get the car high enough.

mate alot of guys including myself lowered the rear of the car onto a pallet and lifted the body up over the engine with a hoist, you will prob find you have to do it in stages, take your time and be well aware of your safety  heard too many horror stories of people getting injured matey :thumleft:
As with most things, preperations the key dude

you can get a two tonne fold away hoist from ebay delivered for £140-£160, you can either sell it afterwards or keep it for future use, the RRP is nearer £350 so it should be fairly easy to get your money back on
