[Mk2] [NA] Alternator may be dead again!

Hi I have a 92 Gltd and yesterday I had a few warning lights on the dash come on and the lights on the dash were dimming and almost off by the time I reached home, also the headlights were dying aswell.

I changed the alternator about 2 years ago for a new one and drove from London to Birmingham and back at the weekend and no problems so the battery should be charged as I have only done a bit of driving this week.

How can I tell if it is def the alternator?

The car was running perfectly before this, also I'm pretty sure that its not the battery as its a fairly new one.

Any other suggestions?
