Wiring harness for replacement headunits.

Post by SwitchBlade »

Hi guys, finally got myself an MR2 and planning out my install. At the moment I've had a browse for the adaptor I'll need for the wiring harness, and as I've got the amplified system it seems ludicrously expensive at £24.99 (the best price I've found) for the adaptor for it when I'm not going to be using the existing amplifier. The only really important bit I'm worried about is the power to my new headunit, and as such was wondering if the cheaper £9.99 adaptor for none amplified systems would work just to take power to my new head unit, or did Toyota use a different shaped plug/socket on the amplified systems to the none-amplified ones.

EDIT: Ignore this now, solved it.
