MY new MR2 :) UPDATE new mods.. project KITT starts

well as a lot of you know murray is very far from well
big holes in floor plan.... etc etc so its a big restoration

job so whiles its off the road tiny sorted me out with another mr2

here is it well here it is as i picked it up

then i needed to sort some bits over from murray onto this one as murray will be off the road i thought i would nick parts for this one make this one nice while i am stripping murray

kel drove it home last night from guildford about 2hours away

and she loved it well pleased with it..

what i wanted to do today
wheels, paint calipers, waxoil all the sills and inside arches etc
change exhaust (blowing badly)
fit air filter
spray front and rear bumpers as the look very grey
fit gearknob/gaitor
fit stereo and steering wheel
clear indicators on front
put up bouncy castle


me and this car are getting off to a very very good start together
old exhaust come off easy and new one went in easy

underthe car is so unbelivable clean no rust sills are excellent all the problem areas with murray are perfect
is a brilliant little car

if anything stands still for too long ill spray it ,, this in my drive less than 12hours

since murray is now dead i have decide to use this as mu kitt project lots of plans for this one

not done much since the above except thash it around.. but is really is a great car.. very very strong and sound
and solid to drive as ben will confirm

here are the updates since

i have fitted some nice seats that i have had laying around for a while

cut up bens old seats to use the bases
some nice big bits of metal welded to the base.. now looking like this

also at the same time i had my nice engine lid delivered from a 2brutal member i love. and it was already black which i was well pleased with
the whole car needs a spray really the vents have started to lift on the engine lid but not too worried as will get them done when i get it sprayed..
want to waxoil it over next couple of weeks
but the money from murray is paying for
new springs shocks and bushes,, then some WMS 4 pot brakes
