[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake caliper refurb kits where from? (somewhere in stock please)

Got the old sticky caliper syndrome on the fronts and im lookin to strip them down and refurb the seals / sliders etc

has anyone done this? what do i need to buy and where can i get the refurb kits from?

will i need any special tools?

Camskills, TCB, and probably other places too :thumleft:

No special tools, just patience to reinstall the final rings that hold the piston seals in the calipers.

Alternatively consider factory refurbished calipers?

Just got mine from here, said he had loads in stock and youll pay les than £40 delivered. Nice people, fast service. toyota and brakes international price up to about £70 once they have been delivered.

Mine fitted no problems

What symptons have you had with regards to the sticky caliper syndrome?
As this is the first I've heard....

I'm guessing smoking brakes, maybe pulling to one side slightly, and possibly occasional juddering through the steering wheel

is there a 'how to' for this? is it one of those jobs that sounds daunting but is actually quite easy?

It's not a technically difficult job, but it is tricky getting the final clips back into the caliper seals, it is easy to damage them.

Getting the pistons out I found a bit of a PITA too.
