Hey all.
Just a few quick questions, I have a 1991 GT-T bar.....The Suspension braces for the rear, i only have 1, from the fire wall to the left suspension, surely i should have two? (obviously one to each suspension). As there is a threaded bracket on the firewall where one could be mounted.

Secondly, looking to get a little more power from the old girl, thinking of a cold air induction kit?.....is this recommended....any other ideas?

Cheers
Steve.

Some rev1s (NA's only I think) only have a single strut brace instead of the x-brace present on most of the other models. The x-brace is just one part; the pipes are welded together in the center. The bracket is still there even if you have the single brace.

If this is indeed an NA car, the induction kit won't really give you any real performance increase. The easiest way to get a bit more out of the car is probably to decat it or install a performance exhaust of some sort. To be honest if it were me I'd just leave the car be and save the money for a turbo car.

You will struggle to get much more power from an NA, unless its not performing right to begin with. A good service can be the best thing (plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm, oil change, oil and fuel filter, make sure ignition timing is right etc).

Induction kit might not gain lots of power, but it does make it sound nice :thumleft:
