new tubby - some new bits, 23/10

Post by ancient mariner »

evening all, most of you will know, that i had to sell my previous car,(black, border kitted rev2 turbo)due to ill health  .anyway things are on the up now,and i travelled to diss in norfolk a couple of weeks ago,and returned with the new love of my life.a rev3 steelmist grey turbo.imported by newera in 2004.1 owner in japan, with full service history (can't read it,but nice to have) and 2 owners in the uk,once again full history.car drives superb,i have put about 600 miles on the clock, and she hasn't missed a beat.i really liked the kitted car,but think i prefer the clean looks,of the new one.added bonus is that other than the raybrigs i have added, the car is standard,so a blank canvas  .i have spent every dry day,t.cutting, claybaring, polishing and finaly sealing it today.paul.

Looks good Paul but you've got to do the quad rear light mod so that you can lose the foglight! I've got a spare set of bulb holders/relays you can have if you like.

thanks for all the kind words,it is a bit of a difficult choice as to,do i leave it completely standard :-s ,or just go for a wheel and exhaust upgrade, and clear indicator and sidelights, and induction kit and,and ,and, and ? (suppose thats the beauty of a blank canvas)
though i do think she looks so good standard,so rare too #-o
dave it will take me a month to recover from all the wax on wax off,i keep getting images,of a little japanese old man, shouting at me :-k
nik you are so right about the foglight  ,i will give you a bell later.paul.
