Momo steering boss removal! HELP

Post by pjm_morris »

Hi all,

The momo wheel in my 2 was never fitted straight (i suspect they lined up the wrong attachment as it has different spaced fitments on the boss).

So i'm trying to remove it it so that i can fit it straight.

I've removed the wheel and horn, and have loosened the centre nut. Should this now pull away? I've re-attached the wheel and in trying, feel like i'm about to pull the dashboard off!

Is there something I am missing here!?!?!?

Cheers

on some cars you have to have ignition turned 2 notches its to do with steering locks not sure on 2's worth a try though , dont forget to leave centre nut on you dont want a broken nose also try tapping with rubber mallet if not its going to be a puller job im afraid. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.
