[Mk2] [Turbo] Throttle hesitation - a question!

Post by Martian_333 »

Your driving along normally (in 5th), if you plant your foot to the floor (say at 40/50mph on a dual carriageway etc) and then let off 100%, then keep repeating this (I know this is not good for the car) the car seems to slowly build up hesitation from 0% throttle to when you hit 100%.

Is this normal? (not something I go around doing alot obviously, but I noticed it the other day)

Cam belt/spark plugs have been replaced already, but the leads are looking pretty old

Cheers guys

Cheers guys, that one less thing to worry about - just wanted to make sure!

Runs fine otherwise, even more so now I switched over to V-Power.

Incorrectly filled profile that mentions a CT26 Stage 1 Hybrid?

What exactly would that mean in relation to a NA?

If you know, let me know.

mr martian,
under your name suggests a NA car, hence the confusion. you can change this to show you have a turbo, and thus better reponses to questions.

Under my name it suggests a MK2 GT MR2, thats exactly what it says at the back of my car, probably why I get half the population of the people carrier world trying to populate my boot, but it is a turbo, I know this because for one I hear a small airoplane turbine take off everytime I floor my accelerator pedal, not to mention the boost gauge and the stock turbo gauge in the middle of the dash (though i am sure MANY people on here hear what must be like a freaking hurricane behind there head with some of the turbos I've seen in the project section lol!).

No disrespect to you or anyone, but my profile in short states exactly what is stated at the back of my car.

I think it would be pretty hard to mistake a NA for a Turbo and besides, I wanted (and bought) a Turbo, I've wanted one for a LONG time.
