[Mk2] [Generic] Indicator flashing really fast??

Post by princess_slc22 »

Hey guys, just a quick question...

When my car got smashed into last month, the wheel and drivers side front corner was hit. I just got it back today (all fixed and with a nice new set of wheels too!) however, when i indicate right, the indicator flashes a lot faster than usual, but flashes normally when i indicate left.

How do i fix this?? looks funny :)

Thanks!

Have you checked all the bulbs are actually flashing on the offending side? Your symptom is normally a sign of a blown bulb.

Yes Shinobi is back!!! Thanks for asking :)
Still a little dented (bodywork and pride!) but with a brand new set of 18" alloys and tyres :D
Its horrible not being able to drive for so long when your '2 is looking at you saying "drive me" lol.

Glad you and your boy are reunited princess. Happy christmas Shinobi. How come he's not shiny and glossy? Wasn't it insurance?

Thanks rob :D he was happy to be back in time for christmas lol.
No, the 3rd party's insurance company said that they'd only pay for 50% of the damage, because of the dispute over liability, so i had the bodywork repaired instead of replaced as i just couldnt afford it.
Only very slighty dented on the front bumper, its barely noticeable considering what it was like before, they did a really good job.
But its a good excuse to get a bodykit fitted dont you think?
