About This MR2This is a Genuine Straight MR2 that is in good mechanical condition.
It is the UK Revision 1 MR2 and is fitted with the 158 BHP 3SGE 2 Litre Twin CAM 16V Engine mated to a 5 Speed manual Gearbox. This is the NA or Norminally Aspirated engine, i.e. NOT Turbo charged, and being the UK model it benefits from cheaper insurance over the imported model.
It has covered approximately 148500 Miles and is currently MOT`d until the 28th April 2009.
The road TAX expired the end of August 2008.From initial inspection I will say that is in need of a bit of TLC mainly to the exterior in terms of general appearance.
Someone has crudely tried to patch up the small marks and bubble patches on the Front and Rear wings - they have not done a good job.The driver side light has been fixed as it was sitting proud and is now flush with the bonnet.
The REV 2 15" Alloy wheels that are on the car in the pictures are not on the car now as the Tyres on these were well worn plus they affected the handling as REV 1`s are best on the 14" Alloys.
I have fitted a set of Original 14" Toyota Alloys that would have been on the car when it left the production line.
These Alloys are fitted with 195/60/14 Tyres on the Front and 205/60/14 Tyres on the Rear all of which have good tread.
Interior wise it has Blue and Black Stripped Seats, Blue Carpet and Blue Interior trim.
The seats are unmarked with slight wear to the right hand side of the drivers seat - this is a common feature on all MR2`s - the carpet too is unmarked.
It benefits from Electric Windows and Wing Mirrors, Remote Central Locking witch is controlled by the Alarm key fob.
It is also fitted with the Original Toyota FM Stereo Radio Cassette player and also has fitted a SUBWOOFER behind the passenger seat, again fitted by Toyota, and it still sounds good.
It also has a sunshine roof yet unfortunately the cover is not with the car.
PaperworkThe past 2 MOT certificates are supplied with the car along with current V5.
Points to RememberThis car is over 18 years old so please take this into account
- it is NOT a new car and as such does have age related wear and tear but saying this as it is a TOYOTA it has stood the test of time very well.SummaryIf you are looking for a cheap everyday MR2 then look no further, just get in and go.
