little update on mine. *now with dyno video - last page*

It is making progress slowly. Tuner has a new workshop now so will not be too much longer till its complete.

And did a little video walkaround of the car too...

Have pretty much decided on completely destickering the car while its there and getting it mopped back to a kind of japanese red. There are some funky bits planned for the car. Gonna be special 8)

It will be put through its paces at most things. Primarily though it will be used for tearing round europe on the 2Thumbs-up Road Trip :thumleft: :thumleft: just need to find me a boot.

looking good ant
are that size of intercooler available with same side entry/exit? would have saved a lot of pipe work with you using the side mount throttle body
that a chrisk manifold btw?

I don't like the twin pass intercoolers. I send the guy doing my car a load of pics of boot mounts and he basically came up with his own routing for the pipework. I think that with the set up that is on there its by far the best option.

Its an RMR 'D' plenum intake manifold.

Same company, but he's got his own workshop now just on the south west outskirts of lincoln. Saves me 50 miles on my journey :thumleft:

This makes it a lot easier to work on as its got its own space.

Mid Jan is a realistic date. The pressure will stay on now.

Yeah I'll be making it to as many meets as possible. Had far too much time off. As for power... not sure at the mo. We're keeping it conservative to start off with as it will be a big jump from a Vectra DI (low output turbo) to this set up at any power level.

The idea at the moment is for me to get used to it, work out any kinks and then up the power a bit more.

I have been to a few other meets, but not in this car for a long time. :(
