Wii - Know Any Cheap Deals?

Post by matt_mr2t »

They still seem to be sat at £179.99 and even used ones are going for £150+ or being sold with loads of games for high end money.

Any one know of any bargains?

I think you will struggle to get a new one cheaper then that, they are still very popular. Tesco are selling it for £179.99 with a free game.
Depends what you want, if you want Wii fit then you can get package deals.

Wii Fit is about £100 isnt it?

I cant get over how much these things cost when you consider a 360 is now £130 and is HD, plays DVD's and doesnt look like a PS2 graphically [-(

Even a decent 2nd hand console would be ok if it was priced reasonably lower than a new one. I dont see why any right minded person would spend £150+ on a 2nd hand one when a brand new one is only £30 more.

Well I paid £100 for mine which came with a game which was crap and I sold it on e-bay for £20 so it really only cost me £80 :oldtongue:

They are supposed to be £70 but no-where has them in stock at that price.

Ah ok. I supposed £70 isnt "bad" next to Guitar Hero for instance. IE game & controller.

Although I always thought the Wii GH was a con as the guitar needs a Wiimote to work!

Ended up getting one from HMV, came with the usual Wii Sports + Mario Kart + EA simms thing and also got the last Wii Fit fit.

Was £199.99 for the bundle plus £69.99 for the Wii Fit.

She managed to get some one to buy it for her for Christmas, wont say who but she aint my bird any more so at least I didnt have to cough up!
