Just bought an old mk2 mr2 1993 reg N/A GT T-bar, by far the best car I've ever driven.
Upgraded from a 1.6l 1995 Vauxhall Tigra.
I've been wanting an MR2 for some time just couldn't find the right one, but loving the rear wheel drive.
Really love the site, the buyers guide and all the information here was very helpful in finding the right car for me.
So thanks to all you wonderful people that helped compile the info, and hope to contribute something back.No rust and a full service history, regular oil and coolant changes, suspension change, new gearbox, two radiator changes and cambelts all documented made me very happy.
I'm in the process of putting a radiator grill on the front, and I had prepared to do the engine fans but it seems that they already have grills on them, sure this isn't standard? unless someone wants to correct me?
Also swapping out the after market tacky wooden gear knob for a Momo Tomahawk, think it suits the leather interior well.
Anyone got any useful guides or advice on swapping out the gear stick, or is it just undo the alan screws and pull?I'm thinking of putting on a K+N airfilter, can anyone recommend the best place to find a kit for a good price?
