big thanks to Ryan at 2bar, now mapped to 1.4bar!!!

Post by jimGTS »

had a few tweaks done today on the road with Ryan and the power fc.
While we was there I asked for a tad more boost

We turned it up from 1.2bar to 1.4bar.

Car was awsome before, but the extra boost has made it even more insane on boost.

Had to do most of this in the rain, LOL, but the car felt planted even at this boost in the rain.

Ryan recons should be approaching 370hp at this boost!! (341hp at 1.15bar dynoed)
Woohoo.

Big thanks again.

Water/meth injection I think is on the cards in spring and get close to 400!

fly....

could only guess at 320ish at the wheels at 1.4bar...
can only really guess also with the dyno sheet i have at 342hp fly at 1.15bar....(290-300atw -ish)
seeing as it was done on a dyno dynamics dyno..there pretty generic with there tranny losses, hense the 50ish guess of losses at the new power.

but to answer your question again, flywheel, lol

ryan thinks turbo is only rated to about 420fly...

Nice one Jim, what turbo you running now?

It seems Ryan has established himself as a bit of a PFC specialist.
I sometimes wish I'd kept mine and had it fitted now
