my fault. The car is an E reg 1988 . I bought car in early 89. Last year I imported a 1998 corolla levin BZG for the engine and gearbox which are now installed in mr2.
To install gearbox into aw11 the input selector shaft has to be come out from otherside of box as levin is front engine and mr2 mid. This was done for me by east London gearboxes in walthamstow . My previous max speed was an indicated 125 now I can do 130 in fifth. Yet to check what is top speed in sixth.
I'm using Iphone and can't post pictures on it. My laptops given up but will post pics weekend. However I have pics on www.mr2oc.co.uk under the same id aw1120vvt

very tidy
