Skye Trip Accident

Post by mr2mk1chick »

Hi All

I've just had a call from Jinxy to let everyone know that there has been a car accident on the trip.
I don't know the full details, but it seems that only 1 car was involved:
A MK2 driven by Mark Watts (Shane Watts brother) with Monkeymax as a passenger.

It seems that the car is written off, and both guys are at the hospital. No serious injuries, but Max will be in overnight with a bump on the head.

The purpose of this thread is to let people know before any mad rumours start, but mostly to give people the chance to send thier well-wishes to both Mark and Max, and for a speedy recovery. :thumleft:

I've heard from Max, he has been released from the docs. The driver is being kept in overnight.

I've seen a pic of the car, glad there both ok, and hopefully they'll have a quick recovery.

hope everything is all ok once the adrenaline has stopped flowing. Just take a few days of doing absolutely nothing after head trauma - not even watching tv or posting on imoc ;)
Hope you haven't knocked anything loose (like I have)

Just sitting chatting with the guys in the pub in Inverness. Everyone's OK, Max is a bit bruised and sore and Mark is kept in for observation overnight but sounds like he's fine.

...I was looking at the pics (didn't do that part of the drive with them) -looked very nasty, but everyone's essentially OK thank god.

I've just had a couple of texts backs and forth with Max. He is in a bit of pain and stiffness but is walking and talking so that is good

Max wanted me to pass on his thanks to all the well wishers :thumleft:
