360 Wireles Control Charge Kits

How do they work - do they plug into the console in order to charge or the mains?

None of them seem to have plugs as far as I can tell.

They charge of any usb dont they? Have you a link to the one's you've been looking at.

Just the ones you see on play and HMV etc.

There's some on ebay for about £6 instead of £14 too.

Yup thy use USB.

My one charges off the mains in it's own little stand thing: I think it's the official 360 one, and is much better than having a wire stuck to the controller IMHO. Also means I can have two packs sitting there on Perma-Charge whilst using the other two pack in the pads

Saw that as well Ekona. Does that charge the pack quicker too?

Honestly I don't know as I only used the USB kit once, maybe twice before I saw the stand on display and impulse purchased. Either way charges a pack quicker than you can use it though, I think. The stand definitely does.

there's 2 types, the one like ekona which charges in a cradle and the one i have that you plug into the usb, both are fine, get whichever is cheaper
