[MR2 Turbo Gen3] New driver from france

Post by kevinTurboFR »

Hi everyone,

i ll try to be as comprehensible as possible!
my name is kevin, i m living near Valence in south of france, and i m a new JDM MR2 turbo rev3 gen3 owner, bought at southampton this week. i also have an Honda Integra LS and Honda Civic ED7 convert into turbo engine, using for track.

before this car, i had a silvia s14, MR2 n/a rev1, supra Mkiv TT, honda crx, corrado G60,....

but, i m here for the MR2, so

this is a black version, without tbar, with Tein superstreet suspension, xspower intercooler, apexi induction, supra fuel pump and some minor modification (brakes lines, powerflex bushes, and other). 16' enkei wheels and 16' OZ wheels for track.

modification coming are:

EBC blitz sbc ID
Full Supra MKIV TT brakes (i ll already have them from my past supra but i dont know if it ll fit)
Supra MKIV TT inj (same as brakes question..)
GT2835 hks (by garret) Turbo, trim 52
downpipe,
exhaust
more modification but no idea now

before i bought this car, i was looking for a joy machine, to use sometimes like my previous MR2 rev1 n/a, but, as soon as i start driving this car, i fall in love with her!
i made so modification on my civic, that it could not fit on a single page, but, my MR2, sure, could kick her ass on a track, so now, i ll keep only the MR2 for track and road use.

pictures will come next

regards from france!

thanks!!
actually, my 16" OZ superturismo wheels and slicks for track are one the road, and i've just command a greddy Dual SBC. i m not sure for the downpipe, if i buy a 2.5" from GTSchris or 3" Berk tech... i'm little affraid about boost creep and i dont want to crash the turbo.
if anyone as a berk tech downpipe, please let me know if there is any problems with stock engine condition.
