[Mk2] [NA] Fault code

Fault code 43 flashing on dash anybody any idear it is a 3s-fe engine

Starter Signal

No STA signal to ECU until engine speed reaches 800rpm with vehicle not moving.

Has anybody got a idear what i can try to get the car started i have checked the fuses all ready

could maybe be the main lead, or starters xxxxx or some connector has come out...

check the ignition coil, just to the right of the engine bay fuse box. mine corroded, due to a spilt in the side of it ....

they are on ebay here if you need one for 7mm leads, or for a 5mm, visit the sellers shop

this cured my car and a friends from dodgy hesitation. mine was so bad it wouldnt start

I am getting a spark at the lead but the petrol is not pumping. pump is ok.
Has anybody got an idear what i can check next. Is there a cut out switch for the fuel pump
