[Mk2] [Turbo] Standard Dump Valve

Post by thepest »

The standard dump valve has a little piece of plastic that joins with a T to the dump valve, anyone have an idea as to what this does? it seems like its a one way valve allowing air through one way and not the other.

Anyway mine sort of came apart. How usefull is this item and may I bypass it in some way?

it's not a one way unit, just easier to flow in one direction than the other. I believe it helps the response time for the BOV to work but whether bypassing is an option, dunno
