[Mk2] [NA] REV1 To REV3 N/A

I have just bought a REV1 n/a with a knackered bottom end and a few other worries about the engine, i am thinking about upgrading to a Later spec engine if i am going to pul the thing out, how much work is it and what do i need,

im sure that from 1995onwards they have chips in the key which is recognised by the ecu... so if you want to put a 1995-on engine in then you will need all this aswell..

why dont you just go for a 1994rev4 turbo and do it yourself like me??? mine was 1997 uk n/a now its got a 1994 turbo in there, so i didnt have to change nothing on the key/imobiliser side

i don;t want to go down the turbo route with this vehicle, i have my gt4 for turbo fun this is going to be a track toy and i want the linear power of a n/a i was looking at doing a rev 3 n/a upgrade

as long as its a pre95 engine i am pretty sure its straight foreward... you shud pick up a bundle from a car being broken for less than £600...

im sure theres 1 going for sale over on the xxxx forum in the forsale section
