Finally!

Had to call and chase the results from the MOT at lunch today. Failed on Sidelights, Brake Servo and Emissions. Sidelights are an easy fix as is the Brake Servo. A Vacuum line was left off so that should cure the problem there.

The Emissions should be a case of tweaking the map.

And just had the call after the retest and... it PASSED!!! Going to tax it online tonight and Phill is going to get some road miles on it to tweak the Throttle map. We're then going to take it to Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground for a session of "Road" Tuning. Should be a fun day out!

I still stare at the figure at the bottom of my project spreadsheet and think what it could have been spent on.

All that aside though, the car is now fully taxed, and the road miles are about to commence

no not yet. He's putting the road miles on it with his missus at the wheel. Airfield will be next week so I'll be driving it then and getting the map finalised. I'm not really expecting to bring the car back that day, but it has to be be soon after.

I bought a new tub of wax specifically for Red cars the other day as i knew I was doing your car soon.

Sounds good. Might not need that much work as the guys missus is a valeter (?) So its already been destickered and had a polish. Not sure to what extent though. When you see it you can advise on whether or not you can better her work

No problems may just need a small finishing polish to bring out the Gloss.
