Well the car is SORN and has been for a month, I went to the USA last month and picked up a few cheap goodies, an apexi auto timer and some ARP head studs

The Head studs were installed last week, which was a job that i didnt like doing just because its boring #-o  so I once it comes back on the road after winter i may up the nitrous a little more and see how that goes

The apexi auto timer is a great bit of kit, its not bulky like most timers and has some great features :thumleft:

cheers leeroy.

A few bits have been tweaked over the past month, so a little update

Fitted an apexi Auto timer, ARP head studs and put a neat bracket to hold the maximiser in the glovebox

I also decided to adjust the layout of my pulsoids to avoid fuel dropout from the length of the pipes from the pulsoids to distribution block, So I fabricated another bracket and mounted them onto the the strut brace. This gives me less than half the length of original nos and fuel pipework to the distribution block

I had to buy a new boot carpet seeing as though I moved the pulsoids, so its just the bottle in the boot now...
Image

To give me a bit more cooling, I cut the rain tray to pieces to let the 2 vents from the turbo engine lid to show in full.

And the exhaust is currently being changed, its just too damn loud, so it wont look like this for much longer

a little update.

I now have a new exhaust...its my old exhaust. I took the xs/motoria off as it was too loud, and decided to use my old exhaust which sounded subtle but purposeful.

However its been altered slightly, the exhaust was designed with 1.5" mild steel pipework from the flexi to the backbox, so out came the grinder and I cut it all out. I then fabricated new pipework from 2.5" stainless steel so it will definatly flow better and last alot longer from the elements

cheers mate. The amount of nos you can add in theory is as much as the engine will take. I will go upto an 150 shot, other people have gone that far on unmodded 3SGE's and its held together

Sounds good, think it would take alot of bottle to go any further!I wouldn't have the cojones to exceed that incase the engine couldnt handle it!

Whats next for your car bud?

The nitrous on my NA is progressively controlled, so it can be programmed to spray nitrous more safely and smoother that a one fix hit. For example I can have the nitrous to start at say 40 shot and progressively build upto 150 shot after 3 or so seconds!

The next plans are to fit an innovate wideband kit so I can see what the air/fuel ratio is upto, and also tax it so I can use the damn thing :thumleft:
