Sounds good Ryan, looking forward to seeing the figures. So it's not laggy at all then? Or do u reallyhave to be in the right gear at the right time?

Hey buddy

Well i think a couple have dropped out so let me find out for you

Yh the turbo spools like a hybrid ct26 TBH, In first and 2nd gear takes alittle longer to hit full boost due to not being much load on engine but i see full boost in first around 4000 rpm

Its doesn't matter what gear your in really you put your foot down and have near instant response. My 4th gear fells like standard turbo in 2nd its just crazy.

Whats next :-k getting stuck now as have nearly done everything but i could put cams in but its fast enough. Having a few bits tided on Outside and then onto new project my mk1. :mrgreen:

Had lots of pm regarding the turbo

The turbo i have is the ATP version of the 3071R. The original garrett version uses a different trim with produces 64% turbine efficiency, but the ATP variant which uses the 60mm turbine from the 3076R and posts 72% peak efficiency :D

the main difference buddy is the garrett factory version uses a t25 exhaust housing.

These are the ones sold as GT3071r-wg, ATP get garrett to make these turbo's to there specs, Basically using a true GT3 exhaust housing.

There in the next line of kits i'm working on now ryan :)

Well not sure on power but i put down 300 rwhp on the old t3t4 @1.4 bar and this turbo is bigger and running alot more boost. Plus the bigger TB and Intake manifold. Should think its 400+ RWHP

I wonder whats its good too as garett rate it to 450bhp with the t25 housing and smaller trim than ours :-k

yes well i always under estermate the turbo output as its different car, different results things. so anything more is a bonus :)

But i was guessing with supporting mods that 400fly was possible around 1.5 bar.
