Why the hell would anyone be put off of a car because it has a turbo timer! ? I understand that you don't like turbo timers Lauren but I really fail to see the logic in your comment!?

I was just replying to your comment of the 'A' or 'B' scenario.
I'd prefer 'B' tbh, but in reality you are not really going to know how well a car has been treated. I'd prefer a car that has been driven gently before switching off rather than one that has been thraped to the front door then allowed to idle for a few mins.

What i'm saying is......given that someone has gone to the effort/expense of fitting a T-timer, it at least shows that they are aware and their for likely to have allowed enough time in the past for the turbo to cool.
As apposed to someone just giving you their word.
Does that make sense to you know?

i get what your saying mike, makes sense to me, but really you can't be sure either way turbo timer or not

Ok Mike thats a fair enough comment.
I guess its gone off on a bit of a tangent really. My main point was based on the original question and all i was saying was that i wouldn't fit a turbo timer to my own car if i had a turbo IYSWIM.
Can we agree to now?
