Wondering if he felt like he'd left his handbrake on

There's a chance he did :-$

Only a few days and I'll get to find out what all the noise is about :)

Well what can i say

first off the scoop underneath has worked a treat
a noticable difference
and holding the pipe to and from the IC was not much difference.. notthere is a huge difference, really cooling it quite welel so not as much as a rush to change it now..

then it done the kent run this weekend
including some tunnels.. which were just awesome
also took out Phil and Ben in it (think they liked it)
and out for a photo shoot

And then took me and the wife last night on about 80 mile ride out and about then dinner..

I loved it its been great and what alittle beast of a car :)
been so worth the build time

not been doing much but enjoying 12psi in a mk1 :) getting miles and smiles under it before the JAE run

have got a new rocker cover gasket to fit and mine leaks slightly where i took it off to re-time when it was a tooth out..

love the reaction of anyone that goes out in it, and kels got a bit more used to a mk1 going sideways

hoping i might be able to sort some new seats before JAE too

but the sallest of updates.. fitted these today as a homage to wahst inside..
was not sure when i ordered them.. but now on i really like

loving the 1.5
Probably not driving as much as i want.. mainly as it does like a little drink.. also i do have a stonking st to drive everyday for work which is no hardship..

Gave it a good motorway run the other day.. and the power is just silly.. it really is, Just pulls in 5th gear an mk1 should not pull like that in 5th!!!

Just general driving its great... pootle around drive like a normal car , goes back to idle no fuss nothing.. get a little heavy footed and the surrounds become a blur very quickly.. it does like to spit the back out and it defo needs the bigger anti roll bar, although i am lucky my gearbox has a LSD which is handy..

Plans for winter is suspension overhall mainly.. and general tidy up get rid of a few rust areas i am not happy with

Slightly nervous about friday, it will be its first proper long haul journey.. hope everything is okay, i have done a good 400miles in it now.. so here is to hoping,
I know i have a slight cam cover gasket leak, but dont want to rish sorting it before so will be done next week

Had started to find the mk1 seats are as normal too high and definatly not supportive enough..
so managed to aquire these from Patrick..
i really like them, they sit lower too

they are far from perfect, they could do with a re-trim.. but its a functional car not a show car...

hoping you guys like it wehn you get to havea good look round at JAE.. i'm pleased as i got to this stage and i built it..
I just remeber being at JAE last year in this car saying next year it will have a 3sgte in it... i never fully believed it yet here we are..
