Top day. Big :thumleft: for Dave for arranging this. Well done mate.

Also, thanks to Ant and Ryan for pulling over with me on the hard shoulder of the M25 on the way home when my car developed a sudden problem.
Turns out a hose had come loose, resulting in no boost and engine stalling.

Cheers gents.
:thumleft:

Figures for me was 374bhp with the NOS and an extra 60lb/ft torque!

Without the Nos it was 330bhp. Was 20hp down on last time i was at Surrey Rolling road in Feb when the air intake temp was 13deg. Today it was over 50deg.

On the way back I stopped in Fleet services, and found smoke coming from my engine lid... forgot to reconect the engine bay temp sensor thing, left it "resting" on the turbo so there was a small fire to be delt with   #-o

Again, thanks to Dave for organising the day. Great turn out greater still to meet more members and see some well prepared cars.

Was great to meet and speak with Ryan (2barTuning) - I'll be trying your resistor today, will let you know how I get on.

Power figures for mine were 456bhp & 305ftlb. Not overly pleased with the way the fuelling is all over the place and that the boost wasn't being held. This will all get sorted in the bear future though.

Thanks all for making the day what it was. :thumleft:

Was an impressive result- you've done a gooood job of that car buddy, must be a blast on the road

Was it wandering after full boost was initially hit? Seemed to be 2 or 3 cars with similar problems maintaining steady boost levels :-k

I managed 425bhp & just over 330ftlbs at 1.5bar- well chuffed with that!

Yeah it is a good laugh on the road. Just don't expect it to be as quick as it is. My boost was wandering yes. Gave like a wave look on the readout. I found it suspicious that a lot of cars were reading like this. I'm going to have the datalogs looked at this week for the dyno runs so that will say for certain wether it was or wasn't fluctuating, or wether it was something up with the monitoring at SRR.

Good results from yours too :thumleft: I would imagine yours pulling a little harder due to having 10% more torque.

i had same prob too with the avcr, ive heard this isnt uncommon though, and have been told that running of the wastegate will resolve this, however what worries me is if i get a 1.2 bar spring, come the colder months, 1. i wont be able to turn the boost down, and 2. i wont be able to control the spiking etc which is why the avcr is a great unit.
I may venture and buy a new solenoid to begin with and see if this makes any difference but to be honest im not too fussed.

Kinda feel like ive hit a brick wall now, next stage is forged route which i have no idea where to start, not sure on what to budget etc :-k
I may also look at possibly going boot mount c/c or inter but unsure whats best, but again i want to buy once and once only so not sure on my final target figures as regards to inlet manifold setup etc.

Was really impressed with both your cars and cant imagine what its like on the roads, i feel with just my 340 its a handfull at times but i have always had a dream of building a reletavely large speced car, i have the bolt on stuff to follow up just not the key components on the bottom end to complete ](*,)

Was great to see a variety of builds that day, thanks to everyone
