I personally made my charater split by biotic and wepons and TBH its a really good combination (usually works in all these sorts of games - Oblivion etc). Once I leveled the right skills / biotics I was pretty good in all fights. On my second play through I had leveled up alot, had very strong biotics and also had the spector weapons which had very high hit counts etc - but I cant use the auto rifle and sniper. Still nothing cooler than throwing the enemy across the room, off a cliff or just levitating them into space (do the levitate in the open - and just watch them fly - then plummet to the deaths) :D

Truley is an awesome game - also depending on what charaters you use you get differing stories - each charater has a side story which you can complete.

Personally cant wait for Too human and Fall out 3!

Yeah mate I love this game!! Been playing it quite a bit since I got hold of it (for £9! )...I'm near the end now, gona finish it off tonight. I downloaded Bring Down The Sky too..gona give that mission a go now.

What spector weapons are there then? You get them by buying them? I've maxed out my assult rifle, shotgun and sniper...damn powerfull now! ....and the other members of my crew too. Kaidon was left behind...and I killed Wrex! (dont f**k with me frog boy!!  )

How do you complete each charater's side story then?

Never been a RPG fan, but this game is excellent, just dont want it to end! Fall out 3 is gona be damn good! 8) :thumleft:

I also wasn’t an RPG fan but tried Oblivion for the first time and I was blown away – and totally immersed. Put something like 70 hours into that and still haven’t even started on the Shivering Isles! Totally awesome game which you can get lost in. Totally turned me onto RPG’s and Mass Effect takes it to another level (but not as free roming). I also like the fact that when it goes to combat its like Graw / RB6 with the cover system etc. Havent done bringing down the sky yet – will get it for when I do the insanity play through.

Once you get promoted to a Spectere you get access to buy the special weapons they have access too. Very expensive so I could only afford on my second playthrough but basically 300 hit point hand guns, 370 hit point shot guns etc – guaranteed take down power.

The character side stories happen if you go onto certain planets with them. The second time around I have visted the same locations with different charaters and you get a small side story. One was for Wrex and some guy had stolen his farthers battle armour – we went in cleaned the place out and Wrex got his armour – I tend to be a bit of a completionist with these games but even on the second play through I noticed new things, different side quests etc.

Fall out 3 looks amazing I cant wait!

Love this game! Its HUGE!!  8)

I'm right near the end now, but I'm doing all the side mission's (of what I still can) and exploring all the planets and doing all the mission's on those before I finish the game......loads to do!!

I've maxed out all the weapons and skills with (Gregg  )Shepard now. Sold a load of gear I didn't need and with everything that I'd collected I had over 7,000,000 credits to spend!!

Bought some damn cool weapons and armour. Definately a game to can play through more than once, 2/3/4/5+!!....and you get achievements for doing so! :thumleft:

Problem is you end up using Liara T'Soni and Ashley Williams in your squad all the time as they are the best charaters for fighting with.

Gona play through it again on Insanity hardness now!

Whats “bringing down the sky” like?

Think you have to play hardcore before you can do insane?

I have to say I don’t know why more people don’t love this game – it is awesome! Did yousave the council at the end or go all guns on Soverign? I have been meaning to opt to save the council (too see what happens) but they are such a bunch of fart knockers I like to see them burn!

Bringing down the sky is pretty good, not amazing in the overall scale of the game but it does add to it and gives you sh*t loads of goodies when you complete it. 8) :thumleft:

Yeah I'm on hardcore not insane....thats next! I let the feckers burn mate....they p*ssed me off all the way through the game so I just told em to feck off all the time.....watched em burn at the end and just unloaded on Soverign! 8)

The game is amazing! PEOPLE...IF YOU OWN A 360....BUY THIS GAME! :thumleft:

I think i'll get hold of this and check it out seeing as though you two haven't stopped banging on about it. I'm not usually into "space" type RPG's though, I'm more of a swords & sorcery type Conan-esq nerd.

I got this a few months ago and just couldnt get into it, even though I wanted to, I'll admit it was too hard and I couldnt get of the first mission, found ti too hard to shoot people etc, Im not much of a gamer though, car games and then games like COD where you can just run at people with a machine gun and most of the time you'll win lol

Really mate!?? :-k Its got a strong learning curve I guess and its notthe easiest of games (which is damn good!) but you should be able to pick up and play straight away. You build you charaters up pretty quick (the more side missions you do the better for you!) and then you can start kicking ass more easy!

Fantastic game mate! You should give it another go. :thumleft:

I was thinking about giving it another go the other day, but then I realised I'd sold it on ebay when I first bought the tubby along with anything else that wasnt bolted down so i could start buying new toys and fixing the old ones lol.
