Just back home now

(!)

Cheers to Enis and all at Perfect Touch for running such a good day

- the dyno they've got there has to be one of the best setups I've seen anywhere.

It was great to Cooling for the front and both sides of the car

- with that all running full speed, it was deafening in the Dyno cell

- even when the cars weren't being run up

Nice to catch up with many folks there too

- there were some impressive results that people had got there

- we need some more info on all the modifications behind the cars

- eg Bry, congratulations for getting best figures of the day

- what have you done since the last RR day at Engine Advantages?

Before I had to go I managed to get some pictures in

- I also left my Video camera setup and recording everything in the dyno cell, so later this week I'll sort out playing all 3 hours into the PC and picking out the dyno runs.

I don't think we got everyone unfortunatly as you couldn't start/stop the video for each run.

In the meanwhile, here are some photos from the day

Whilst this was going on, everyone was talking about results, their cars etc.

As for my results

- I swapped the K&N intake for an Apexi Powerflow, and

fixed a coolant leak on the turbo the day before the dyno

(and so didn't have chance to clean the car

.

.

)

Power output was exactly as before

-

220bhp at 7-8psi, no detonation but

the guys at Perfect Touch told me the mix was getting a little too lean at the top end

-

(~15:1) so it looks like I need to get the Unichip map that Millway did adjusted and some more fuel added.

That will probably cost a little power, but better that and end up with a safe engine map.

Having seen what a good job they did on the dyno day, I'm probably going to book it in with Perfect Touch, if they're happy to work on my NA-> Turbo conversion with a fifth injector

Ben.
