It's amazing how much the addition of a spoiler improved the looks of the MK2.

Great little runners, no lardy ar$e extras, 1180kg, and better torque/tonne than a UK GT!
£235 insurance, £45 service twice a year, 30mpg and cruise all day at 120.ImageImage

All this aside though - Matt Baker over on mr2oc has, what i believe to be, a tasty looking rev 3 which has no spoiler:

and from the front:

Bigger photos

He goes to a majority of the reading meets so you can find more bits in the event reports.

I really didn't think it would look as nice as it does in person

Yep - I had (a good few years back!) a UK 3S-FE 1991 Coupe:

Bought the turbo after owning that though :)

Don't worry about it, RedMR2 don't know squat! he's too busy swapping his lights from lexus to rev 3, and dilly dallying over getting a departure 2. Go on you fool! Get the departure 2! Jase (MTTE) has one for sale at the mo......

Note to self, must get Airwalker side skirts...

That's dead cheap - and they are fairly rare (well I haven't seen the about much and neither had Matt when I spoke with him).

I need a turbo before I start thinking about kits

Fair enough. I was 21 when I had my turbo engine fitted. No massive difference in age really. All I was saying is that my car had the 3SFE engine in and the best mod I have done has been to have it chucked in the skip!
