So why not say that last week:

Ball joints and stabilizer arms recently changed, which is what it failed its MOT on

Since you've done the work you're better off getting a test on it. Easier to sell with a test.

That test is dead and buried - what it passed on and failed on is irrelevent. And if don't have the fail sheet you don't actually know what it failed on.

peter, i did say in my other post i would upload a print screen from vosa, thought people would understand...
i did see the fail screen when i bought it so knew what the failure was. i should have made a note of the document reference....

ive just had a quick look on ebay and the body panels vary from price to price but the bonnet and doors and headlights are going for £50 per piece so am pretty sure theres 430 in it for him

Maybe I'm too soft on my prices...

I only paid £275 (plus transportation costs) for the car I'm breaking and I'm struggling to break even on that

The doors and lights were no good though, and I can't be bothered to take the engine out for the sake of £50.... The early rev NA's aren't that desirable as parts (IMHO).

I drove the car back with a fresh 12mnth MOT.

Had to change exhaust to standard, hopefully I might be able to return it...
