I would imagine it would make life easier... what's the problem with your rev counter?

It doesn't work.

I can pull real time monitoring from the ECU via the laptop so will bring it just incase. I'll need to pull the log files anyway to email to the tuner so can get it all done in one go I guess.

Fair enough. I was just gonna say if it's that big an issue it's only 8 screws to nick one out of someone elses car, and if it was broken wiring again it's not very complex, just the black wire w/silver dots from the ignitor to the instrument cluster via the passenger footwell. I am sure you are probably aware of all of this already but just trying to help :thumleft:

Yeah I think I know what the problem is, was hoping to have it sorted in time but not got confirmation on my theory yet. Will just set up an RTM dashboard on the laptop for the day I think.

Yeah they must measure from somewhere for the graph, but wasn't sure if they could see that while running they dyno. Obviously they normally just use the dash as they're sat right there.

The A264 is the East Gristead/Crawley junction off the M23. As you're coming down its the one after the Gatwick junction.

If you're gonna be waiting at the Reigate junction I can give you a shout as we're coming through. We will then slow down and allow you to join up with us. Will be easier this way I think. I'll be doing the same for my mate Dan who will be waiting at Junction 10 on the M25 too.

Bad news, Im not going to be able to run due to boost creep problem which means im stripping off my turbo to fit an external wastegate and it wont be ready in time.

I will pop down anyway but without the car : (

Dave an chance of a refund on what i paid? :(

Those who are travelling any distance should probably be aware that Saturday is the first day of the school summer holidays so traffic will be a bit heavy!

I came up with a theory overnight. I'm using a jump pack to start it and I think it was low. Volt meter was reading about 8.8v while cranking and I dont think this will be enough to fire it, although it was enough to turn it.

Charging the jump pack as we speak so hopefully I'll know later.

If not I'll have to bring my laptop.

I have an autogauge dash mount rev counter kicking around, i'll bring it along if you like? just need to take a feed from the IG- screw behind the dials. :thumleft:

yeah can bring it along to try it out. I've got most of my gauges duck-taped to my dash at the moment too. Good news is that I started the car successfully so will defo be there tomorrow. Other result is that I fixed my oil pressure gauge too. :thumleft:

Trying to get cameras sorted now to record the dyno run.
