That's at the fly. The wheels figure was 349.x I believe, I'd have to check the print outs. 400 was always my target so that's what Ryan aimed for, allowing a cam config which is well suited to my needs (street use) and not just top end grunt. There's the overhead to turn the boost up in the future, maybe when I go to Santa Pod next year etc. For the majority of the time 1.6 bar is plenty enough and keeps the engine well within safe working limits.
The drive home was certainly sensory overload, all self-inflicted though. To be honest the car behaves really well and I now have to grow into it. If a car could wag it's tail I reckon it would have been in full swing yesterday on thw way back
Definitely a great feeling to get it to where it is. Although it would never have happened without the help of some many of the people I've met over the last few months.
P.S. When's your big unveil going to happen then?
Good progress mate - are you pleased with that output?
Looking to increase it any more, or are you going for a few more aesthetic modifications now?
I look forward to future updates
Have you considered these floor mats http://www.nengun.com/bride/floor-mats
I agree that the door cards should not be bride based, but the floor mats would look rather striking in the same material...
Back after another action packed weekend away. This time for that yearly celebration of the gaining of age
Thanks sp00n and Zeiretto
Karl - The figures are exactly what I wanted There's plenty of headroom for future gains with simple boost and cam tweaks, should I become a "brave pills" addict.
Working on a few bits at the moment, with another couple I've put on hold for the time being. I need to do a little something for you shortly too don't I
Those mats are an interesting find That's some price tag though Not running any mats at the moment, so definitely something to look in to over the winter
Evening all
It's been a while since I put any words in this thread, so I thought it time for a quick update.
No real changes to the car to report on really. There's a few things in work but nothing finished, so they can wait for another day.
I have now got around to getting some proper camera gear, in the shape of a GoPro Hero 2 Motorsport kit (birthday present from Adrienne) and a Canon EOS 650D (birthday present to myself ). I've been trying to get to grips with how it all works, which has taken longer than hoped (GoPro wise) due to the lovely weather we've been having Although today was a nice clear day, so we decided to go out for a drive and get some video footage. Alas that will have to wait for a day or so, as it all needs compiling into something a bit more special than a few clips. Plus the files are huge (300mb+)
We did take the Canon with us though so grabbed a few photos en route, which I thought I'd share. I'm still learning and it was an ad hoc shoot, so bear with me
It seems to be perpetual dusk these days
If a car could contemplate, this is how it would look
This is who we are
Better had splicing a video together then eh. When did I become a video editor?!

Looking really good mate
Your making me want to get my car back just so that I can give it a clean! Lol
The camera has great definition to it.
I bet your well chuffed!!
Congrats on the birthday
Ps - love the contemplation photo
Thanks guys. It was only a couple of weeks ago but the thought's there To be honest I wouldn't expect anyone to know, I nearly forgot myself
A taster of whats to come
After a bit of time learning about movie editing software and some trial and error I have my first video. My first video which isn't just a clip of something at least
It's all a bit of a proof of concept really, so don't be too critical of the results http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V68TAvpV0cY
