Hi Bec, the 2s coming on great. If you are thinking about Rota D1s
make sure Rota uk/rarerims have got them in stock first, as when
i ordered mine they said 4 weeks and its been 3 months now.
I think the black or grey ones they had but i wanted gold.
Nice Duke by the way. I had a 900SS tuned by pro v twins a
while back, always wanted a 916 or 996 but could not touch the
ground on one cos im a short ass.

Ta Ric-Well the duke is slightly lower so I can reach-as I'm a wee half pint too  The 916 is JHP tuned and has some serious power

I wont be going with rotaD1's as I'm after some seriously deep dish, The hunt is on but I haven't got the money yet-just seeing whats out there.

Advans are one of the top faves along with Blitz. Racing Harts are nice but the ones I like are discontinued

Well after a very very long weekend I have finally got round to MOT'ing the car, the spats were fitted and rear guard was removed.
Spent most of yesterday waiting at the DVLA office to register her. So hopefully (as long as the Japanese check goes through fine) I will have the reg number /docs and tax through the post by Monday \:D/

I will grab some photo's of her later  I am so happy with her progress-its all happened so quickly but it seems like eternity...

Soon she wont just be an orniment(SP) in my front garden-I'll be able to use her  Roll on MR2 world record attempt as I thin k that might be her first public appearance

Talking about your car is finished and not posting any pictures [-( [-X

How about some high res pics ;) And is there a spoiler coming on te boot? Maybe a bomex driftwing would look great ;) Or something more subtile like a Kaminari 8)

Nice job so far

Well, once I have retrieved the camera from my dad's I'll take some 360 degree photo's of her  Which might be later tonight or may be tomorrow evening. :?:

I am considering 2 x different styles of spoiler, 1 is the drift bomex and the other being the TRD. If I went for the TRD it would have to be a carbon centred one.

I prefer the latter of the two, but I'm almost considerig not putting one on there as she looks mean without a spoiler :-k

Well, I got the car out of the garage this evening after work to catch the last 20 minutes of daylight, and here are the results (poor camera hence the blurriness of the pictures)-please dont comment on the cars clenliness as I know she's filth-the light also does the colour no ustice ](*,) !

I need to wash her but I haven't had the time/energy or enough light.

But in time it will come (and I know about the mirrors also) lol they are going black to match the roof as soon as 1) I can get thr drivers mirror off and 2) Ben has the time/energy to paint them

ALSO I'd like to thank Rhon for making me my fantastic new gear gaitor, black with yellow stitching and for re-leathering my gearknob to suit.

10/10 :thumleft:

Also seriously considering ditching my NUR for a twin exit too, makes the back end look meaner. :)

Thanks Mart-appreciate your comments

I am borrowing Adams plates from Alpha MR2 (the 700bhp+ white one that was featured in Banzai)

Well I have to hand it to the DVLA-they have managed to get me a registration number within 4 days to my doorstep.

So now I have a reg I will be going to buy some plates tomorrow and next weekend she'll be up the paintshop for some finishing touches (mirrors mainly lol)

Cant bloody wait-I'm like a kid in a sweet shop O:) \:D/
