Unfortunately there has been a few setbacks with this and the collection day was has been pushed back a little, however a final collection date has been finalised,

None of the issues turned out to be anything major but worth mentioning as part of the build, now is a perfect time to find these niggly little things and resolve than having issues up in the mountains.

Firstly the heat shield rattled, upon inspection, turned out the bolts holding it on had rusted and snapped off inside the thread, so, drilled out, thread re-tapped, and was treated to some high temp matt black paint to freshen that part up a little.

Also a perfect time to decat the car, so a berk decat was ordered and fitted.

Also, when the coolant system was pressure a small leak was exposed, no real cause for concern, just something that was exposed and fixed.

Pete is mechanically done with the car now, it has left his workshop and is now back in the bodyshop getting a few bits touched up, a full buff, wax and polish and then its a case of turning up to collect her!
