For all those asking about the skuttle panel, im really not sure how much it cost, im waiting for my invoice, however when it arrives ill let you all know how much it was.
However, more importantly, this is the first picture of the car outside in its finished state, off to the MOT station.
Which she promptly passed!

The only thing I would change on that would be an import plate and holder for the front, but that's just my 2p.

I did consider getting and import holder and plate, but looking at it everything else about the front is wide, low and long, I think if I had the fog lights I would have gone with an import plate.
Pickup next week sometime, ive never wanted a bank holiday weekend to pass by so quickly!
Re: 'Champ White' Turbo Build
Unfortunately there has been a few setbacks with this and the collection day was has been pushed back a little, however a final collection date has been finalised,
None of the issues turned out to be anything major but worth mentioning as part of the build, now is a perfect time to find these niggly little things and resolve than having issues up in the mountains.
Firstly the heat shield rattled, upon inspection, turned out the bolts holding it on had rusted and snapped off inside the thread, so, drilled out, thread re-tapped, and was treated to some high temp matt black paint to freshen that part up a little.
Also a perfect time to decat the car, so a berk decat was ordered and fitted.
Also, when the coolant system was pressure a small leak was exposed, no real cause for concern, just something that was exposed and fixed.
Pete is mechanically done with the car now, it has left his workshop and is now back in the bodyshop getting a few bits touched up, a full buff, wax and polish and then its a case of turning up to collect her!
Watch this space, we are very close!

Thanks man although nothing could have compared to the Corvette and those tunnels!
Now, i've always been a fan of neo-chrome, (used sparingly) so I picked myself up a new gearknob as mine was all old and tatty.
Not only was the neo-chrome urge semi-satisfied, the slightly longer throw made a real difference to the car. No more missed gears or sloppy changes.
Whilst the car was being built unfortunately a few of my Blox wheel nuts went missing, leaving me with a miss matched black and 'whatever fitted set', bit of a shame as I really liked the black ones, but not so much as my new neo-chrome ones to replace them!

Re: 'Champ White' Turbo Build
Lovely - wheels are perfect too with that white.
Re: 'Champ White' Turbo Build
the after pic looks so much nicer than the "before" !
I'm not a fan of the neo chrome stuff but that's just personal preference, I agree with the other comments that it needs an import sized plate too.. or just ones without the gap between the 'M' and the '7' - that would really bug me if it was my car!
lovely car anyway, the wheels really suit it

Scuttle panel cowl £114.68 +vat direct from Toyota. That's how much mine cost.
Re: 'Champ White' Turbo Build
