I just joined up to get some more info on my car!
I just bought a UK spec MK2 GTI-16 t-top from another forum for the very low sum of 230 pounds!
it has a little dent above the rear left wheel
but i am getting this fixed next week.
It had its mot today and it failed on hazard switch, handbrake and headlight alignment so it will be ready to collect tomorrow.
I need to get the drivers seat repaired
(leather bolster) tidy up the interior and either spray the wheels back to silver or get some different standard alloys. the engine is immaculate though!It will never be a show car but just a cheap runaround.
By the way its not my only car.
