Clean car, sunny day, camera =

Post by HighwayStar »

Took some shots on the way from my old place to our new one today. Turned an hour journey into 2hrs but hey, I had fun.
I've just put them into my garage... the last seven. If somebody could post them into this thread I'd be very grateful. I'm particularly liking my last shot (side on by the river with the passerby), what do you lot think?

Indeed it is. Still have the old grill I adapted to hold the number plate so I can switch between the 2 looks in about 15mins but for the time being I'll keep it 'standard'. Nice to have a change and I think it shows off my rear spats better...

Car looks great Rob and love the spats.

Out of interest why can you not post pics in a topic yourself? (not meant as a dig)

Cheers mate. I'm pretty pleased with the way it's looking now. New spats, lowered (even further) on all new suspension, the bigger later brakes, refreshed paintwork, detailing and mesh on all the vents and the rear plate back in its normal position. Think thats going to be it for a while (perhaps with the exception of fitting a polybush kit).
Not exactly sure why I can't post images. I can't upload to either photobucket or imageshack. My laptop man thinks its something to do with how my mac stores images, not the file type but how they're tagged. I don't really understand the technobabble but he tells me he can fix it the next time he's here so hopefully won't have to put up with it for much longer....
Hows tricks with you? What happened to the banana, how come you're running a celica now... enjoying it?

Im good thanks mate. Got a 7month old so had to sell the MR2. Got the celica as it looks nice, cheap to run and is pretty practical and stil has a good turn of pace and handling. I just have to sort a few niggly problems and it will be perfect.

Id love to see your car in the flesh. Its so round looking and looks fresh.

Congratulations on the daddiness!!! Your first? Hope you don't smell too badly of poo!!
I quite like celicas myself but oddly never driven one... good choice after the 2 though I'd think, stay with that Jap reliability. If you can make it to JAE this year (well you never know... perhaps she'll give you a w/e off!) I'll be there with my baby (touch wood).
Have to say you're right though... does look better in the flesh. Put it next to a another spoilered, kitted, cart wheeled 2 and it looks tiny, old, classsic... and fast! :thumleft:
