I shall be playing Halo wars tonight! been looking forward to this one, hope its a C&C beater

i grabbed it a few days ago.... but no point wasting a disk as its only halo :lol: lol

anyone played it yet? i didnt get a chance last night, I chose watching 'Yes man' over playing this.

Holding an XBOX Link night tonight after all!

Its a good game! catches the essense of Halo (which I love) and it totally C&Conquer stylee.

I would say great game but I have only played the first 2 levels... impressed so far :thumleft:

Played the demo. Pretty good, love the Halo games but this type of game (RTS) isn't really me. Had LOTR RTS which was pretty cool but these games take a lot of time to get into the learn everything. Not really a pick-up-and-quick-play type of game.

true, but how good are the controls?! best/easiest controls on a console for this game type yet.

Some people on my friends list are already playing this.....how annoying ! I might decide to go and get this after midnight though as no work tomorrow......whos up for a game if i do ?

Completed this over the weekend.

Got to level 10 which was hardish.. and then every level that followed was easy!
addictive game, just needed more depth and flexibility (like being able to choose where you want your base turrets etc)

Recon the sequel will be great
