When I got my PS3 about this time last year it came with Resistance Fall Of Man (1 obviously)

Now I played it and played it but got stuck and subsequently got fet up and moved on to other games.

I've currently got nothing new to play so I went back and came to the conclusion that the game wasnt good enough to get stressed out on so I started again on easy just to get through it.

It turns out, I hadnt got very far lol. In a few hours I cought up to where I was and overtook myself lol.

Have you ever got into a game and played (what you think is) quite a lot, got stuck then just given up?

i only give up on games when i get bored eg bio shock was the last time it happend to me. i love it when u get stuck cause its so annoying but as soon as u get passed that bit it feels so good lol

It has to be a bloody good game for me to keep playing once I start finding a part hard.

There are certain games I just never bothered finishing because it didnt warrent the effort and stress.

Long long time ago (galaxy far far away ), but i couldnt do a platform jumping bit, tried for hours and kept messing it up then gave up

And technically GT5P and Forza 2 but tbh, I dont think I will finish all the races on the former and dont think I have enough years left in me to do all the races on the latter.

strangle hold and fracture?? 2 of the worst games around and u want to finish them? lol
jericho was awsome so was R6V and alone in the dark was actually pretty good when u got used to it

R6V wound me up to the point I wanted to gnaw on the disk tbh. Very very infuriating game.

Jerricho was alright but I really wanted another game and used it as PX

Alone In The Dark had lovely graphics but the game play was horrendous.

I got Fracture and Stranglehold on the cheap and they're both ok. Just not good enough to make me not want new games and play them instead.

Got it with the PS3 last year and I concur. Look forward to the next one.

Odd that a decent PS3 excusive is actually out and has been for a while lol.

Because its a special platform tie in. Just like the many 360 games that are not made by MS but are 360 only.

Games I cant be ar$ed with :

PGR3 - yawn.

R6LV 2 - just annoying and not a patch on the orginal.

Lord of the rings - Battle for middle earth - nothing to keep you interested.

Need for Speed Carbon (that was utterly dire!)

I also had to force myself to play the following:

The Darkness

King Kong

Assasins creed

After wanting Bioshock so badly i got fed up with it on the 3rd level and had to have a break, Back into now though and very near the end apparently, Don't think i'll go through it again on "survivor" just yet though.

Devil May Cry 4 and The Darkness.

Tried going back to DMC but I just couldn't keep my self interested in it. Basically a hack and slash. So repetitive. Darkness was just crap.

Both got traded.

Warhawk. Not bothered with it. Did not like the gameplay at all. Good idea but didn't do it for me.

I have spiderman 3 which I am taking my time to complete.

CODW@W I've not played the campaign for AGES. I'm always going online with it lol.

Bioshock IS my fave, absolutely loved it.
Prey
Darkness.

REALLY enjoyed those and spent all my spare time playing them to completion.

They had great stories that kept me interested.

Story line was ok in Darkness. Graphics were poor. Gameplay was average. Plus I got it for free so was not too fussed about trading it in. What I did like was being able to watch The Streetfighter on the tellies in game! Awesome.

Incidently, in 3 evenings of game time I'm now 2 3rds of the way through Resistance lol.
