Post by Steve-O 2007 »

Left 4 Dead is now only £13.49 on Steam (PC)!! Its a Weekend only offer and goes back to £27 on monday.

If you dont have Steam its a free download (get it from the link below) then you just buy / pay for your games with PayPal and download them to your Steam account :D

If you cant decide PC or Xbox version then go for the PC version, custom mods and maps etc for it and the graphics are better  :thumleft:

On that point i've recently started playing a few games on the PC, fallout 3 and COD:WAW, whilst i'm enjoying fallout i'm finding the whole experience of call of duty somewhat underwhelming compared to a console, yep the graphics are a lot nicer but the smaller screen, sitting in a proper chair and poor sound set up doesn't come close to the console, i know i could hook the pc up to the sound system and hdtv but then i still have to set up a table for a keyboard and mouse 8-[

But Aiming is alot easier with the Mouse and you get free Addons / maps on the PC, non of this 800 MS Points for 6 new maps crap etc :thumleft:

I Have my PC Hooked upto a Logitech Dolby Digital / DTS Speaker system. Also have a £130 Sound card in the PC (one of the best sound cards around

My PC came with SupremeFXII, altho it wouldn't work for ages, took it out and it had been fitted to the wrong IDE socket  It's meant to be pretty decent for games and does 7.1 and HD audio so can be connected to my receiver, only problem is the driver doesn't work right with my motherboard, even tho it comes in the box  have to use a generic MS driver to get sound, altho next on my list is a top notch(ish) external soundcard, mainly be used for a budget home studio, just need to speak to a guy i know for a bit of advice as to which one i should get :thumleft:
