hhmmm, I read on a site that this addon Censors GTA4!!!

Eg Theres been reports of it cutting out the Bloody spray and different camera angles when getting a lapdance

Anyone got it and can confirm?

Given that TLAD shows you a full-frontal of a naked man, I'd be guessing that they haven't censored anything. That's just a guess mind, I don't know for certain.

Ok, Im not getting the new patch or this addon untill they sort it out!! -

This what I found out about the recent patch. I have been reading diffrent posts and this seems to be the situaton:

EU was uncensored-------------------EU got censored
AU was censored-----------------------AU got uncensored
US was uncensored--------------------US still Uncensored

The diffrences are the blood pool that emits under the body of a killed human are gone, there are still blood splashes though.

There is no blood on your jacket as you get shot.

You can no longer choose services of the hookers. You only get to see the rear bumper in a fixed camera angle and hear whats going on.

yep this is confirmed now well at least for me

got home tested my disc that CLEARLY HAS 18+ ON IT!!!!!, censored in both gta and L&D after patch, deleted patch and cant play L&D but gta works and is back to normal

now then i had mate come over and bring his version of gta over which he got here in australia, stuck it in and downloaded patch.....intresting that gta was still censored but L&D was not we could get hookers and so much more blood and pools to ride bike though i was stoked so only un-censored L&D not normal mode for aussie version

not sure 1 guy in california would be censored now i thought patch did nothing to US version?

now guess we just wait for another patch or something to bring our 18+ discs back to standards

I did check it tonight as well and was censored.What a pille of ....

I fell rip-off for at least not had been warned about the censorship.

BTW:I'm european aswell.

I live in the UK and I bought GTA this morning.

I got home and installed the update. Then I read this thread. Yep, I played the game and there was no blood on the floor. I thought this was a bit weird as it wasn't like this in Vice City or San Andreas.

So yeah, without even knowing it I've shot myself in the foot. This is definitely a mistake by Rockstar. Give us back our options Rockstar!

Tbh that's the most pathetic thing to whinge about I've ever heard. Getting the hookers once or twice was funny, but nothing after that. The blood is nice to have, but certainly not a deal breaker. Nothing there actually changes the way the game plays at all, and if it's still great and you love it then why not get the DLC?

Agreed mate, but its still p*ss poor that they feel they have to censor it! Its GTA FFS!!

i heard they are now renaming it
gta or grand theft auto pollutes the young mind apparently so they may be going with
gary the angel

Might sound sick but I like seeing blood in games... I dont want to pay for a addon to have that taken away. Might as well just re rate the game to a 15
