Right.... 3S/TGT and My Engine Build...

Post by sanchi »

... Well what can I say that everyone hasn't already! The guys are great! :thumleft:

The service they provided me with made me feel secure and at home, I felt completely at ease with my car being at the garage and the workmanship of the team!

It all started of with a phone call about a year ago that got my car towed to 3S/TGT to diagnose that the cambelt was the problem with no compression happening. James was so helpful arranging the tow to pick my car up and answering all the queries that I had. From then my car has been in the garage for about a year due to the following reasons:

1. Me spending more money on the car
2. Me spending more money on the car
3. Me spending more money on the car

In that year I have got to know James, Lee and John at the garage and what a bunch of lads! They are so down to earth but just as professional advising me on alot of the mods I have carried out on my engine.

James and the team carried out a full engine build for me which was forged pistion, forged rods balanced bottomed end, rebuilt head whilst fabricating brackets and pipes etc to fit the turbo in properly.Since its been completed I have had no problems with the engine, James made me fully aware of the procedure to run in the engine and when to return to get the head re-torqued, general service and oil changes.

James also recommended alot of ways to go about the engine build and is a 100% understanding to your needs and requests while adding in his opinions and ideas. The after sales care is great any questions that I have had James always answer which makes me feel more re-assured about the engine build. James and I also had very good trusting relationship and communication during the engine build process which is very important if you are spending a lot of money, whereby if they encountered any problems or needed anything they would contact me and likewise for me I would contact them if I needed anything doing.

I've been happy with the service, workmanship and help from James and the team and found there knowledge to be very useful. Thanks to Lee and John too for the hard work and pig of a clutch I had! Also had lunch with the guys watching Kimbo Slice on YouTube  Good fun! and saw how they teased Lee's Gamy eye! (Hope its better now mate!).

Ill definitely be back in touch as we still have alot more work to do the project is not over yet!  8)

Thanks again guys :thumleft:

P.S I'd like to thank Ryan @ 2 Bar Tuning for the great map and help who was recommended by James.
