Thanks N!co, I'll do that.

I've bought a Sealey automatic welding helmet for £55, that's cheaper than the £70 sale price, and it works fine: - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0348000054. It makes welding far easier but I must say that the welding light looks very bright but it doesn't hurt my eyes or leave me seeing dark patches so must be OK.
