You still run around shooting people lol. Might be different maps but still the same principle.

You only need to see the gamer scores of you and Thai compared to me lol. Think your on 12k odd, Thai's on about 74m and I've JUST got past 5k lol.

But the truth is, I find it all a little repetetive online. Especially COD etc when you just run around shooting each other for 10 minutes.
I prefer a structure to my games, a target, next level, next bit of a story etc.

 :thumleft: I just like my games mate. Its how a chill out and relax. You'll never see me sitting in a pub getting pi$$ed (not saying thats what you do mate) so I chill out on my 360 when I get the chance.

I also really love playing through good games single player so I know exactly what you mean. Online play with a few mates is excellent fun though mate! COD4 is soooo addictive! Gears is damn good fun too....had many a damn late night on that with Pete, Chrispy, REDmr2 etc....get on it mate!

You can pan the camera round during the intro sequence and have a look at his face...

So has everyone finished it now? Can we discuss what happens at the end?

DONT READ ON IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED

Yes, lets!

So his bird was always dead, the marker was making him see things to get him to do what it wanted?
It's been a little while since I finished it.

I'm not convinced she was dead. Okay, so there's the "n-i-c-o-l-e-i-s-d-e-a-d" chapter titles, but who's to say that's not just to mislead us. We see her injecting herself with something and slumping down. That doesn't mean she's committed suicide. Maybe she's experimenting with a cure that stops you turning into a necromorph?

Perhaps she does die, but because of this "cure" she's under the control of the marker rather than the hive mind. The marker alters Isaac's perception of Nicole so that he see her as he remembers her and she really does help him. At the end she attacks him when they are far enough away that the marker is no longer able to control her?

Nice idea mate. :thumleft:

I believe she is dead, injecting whatever it was into herself to die and not become a necromorph and be killed/consumed by them.

Isaac was so inlove with her and had such strong memories of her that the marker (Alien lifeform/power) took advantage of this and used her image to get him to do what it wanted.....even if it didn't have the desired effect in the end.

So what was the markers relationship to the hive thing and the necramorphs?

Glad i'm not the only one who's a bit confused. Some of these games really throw me in the end. F.E.A.R baffled me. Problem is, you spend so long playing them, by the time you get to the end you've forgotten half of what happened. Bioshock was the best. Made perfect sense through out. I reckon with Dead Space the Marker was what turned people into necramorphs and affected peoples minds. The Hive was just a huge monster?
